The Garo MCB B163 is a single-pole miniature circuit breaker rated at 63A with a Type B tripping characteristic, providing overcurrent and short-circuit protection for final circuits in distribution boards and consumer units. It has a rated breaking capacity of 6kA to IEC/EN 60898-1 and operates at 240/415V AC, 50/60Hz. The device mounts on 35mm DIN rail and occupies a single 18mm module, with screw terminals accepting conductors from 1 to 25mm² at a tightening torque of 3.5Nm. A Type B curve trips at three to five times rated current, suiting resistive and lightly inductive loads such as lighting and socket circuits. The grey thermoplastic housing has an IP20 front and the device is rated for operation from −25°C to +55°C.
