Warranty

Your legal rights

Under Irish and EU law, all goods sold must be fit for purpose, as described, and of satisfactory quality. If they are not, you are entitled to a remedy from us regardless of any manufacturer warranty.

Your minimum legal guarantee is 2 years from delivery. If a product turns out to be faulty or not as described within that period, you are entitled to:

  • Repair or replacement — whichever is most appropriate
  • A partial or full refund if repair or replacement is not possible or would take unreasonably long

These rights apply to all consumers and cannot be excluded.

Manufacturer warranty

Most products also carry a manufacturer warranty on top of your legal rights. The duration and terms vary by manufacturer and product — check the product documentation or the manufacturer’s website for details specific to your product.

A manufacturer warranty may offer additional coverage or a faster resolution path. It does not replace your statutory rights.

Milwaukee tools

Milwaukee tools carry a 1-year standard warranty from date of purchase. You can extend this to up to 3 years on most power tools by registering each eligible tool on the Milwaukee warranty portal within 30 days of purchase — you will need your proof of purchase and the tool’s model or serial number.

Register here: warranty.milwaukeetool.eu/en-ie/home

Coverage summary (guide only):

  • Up to 3 years on tools when registered within 30 days (1 year standard + 2 year extension)
  • Up to 2 years on Milwaukee batteries (with proof of purchase — check your registration confirmation)
  • 12 months on chargers; some categories (e.g. certain nailers, heated jackets, specific batteries) are excluded from extended cover and remain on standard warranty only

Full and binding terms are set by Milwaukee and published on their EU warranty site. Your statutory rights under Irish and EU law are not affected.

Milwaukee handles warranty repairs directly — you do not need to return tools to us. To submit a warranty claim:

Option 1 — Milwaukee eService (recommended)

  1. Go to eservice.milwaukeetool.eu/en-ie/home and log into your Milwaukee account
  2. Under “My Tools”, select the tool and click “Repair” (or register it first if not yet registered)
  3. Enter your tool serial number, describe the fault, and upload your proof of purchase and extended warranty confirmation if the tool is over 12 months old
  4. Choose courier collection from your address or an available drop-off point — Milwaukee will arrange the rest
  5. If the fault is covered, repair or replacement is carried out free of charge; if not, Milwaukee will provide a quotation

Option 2 — Authorised service centre

You can also bring or send the tool to an official Milwaukee service partner. Use the Find a Service Centre tool on Milwaukee’s website to locate your nearest authorised centre.

If you are unsure how to proceed, open a support ticket and we will help point you in the right direction.

How to make a claim

We do not carry out in-house repairs. For any warranty issue (other than Milwaukee — see above):

  1. Contact us via a support ticket or email [email protected]. Include your order number and a description of the fault.
  2. We will assess the situation — we may ask for additional information or ask you to return the item for inspection.
  3. We will arrange a replacement or refund — depending on the fault, stock availability, and circumstances.

We aim to resolve warranty issues quickly and without unnecessary back-and-forth.

What warranty does not cover

  • Damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, or neglect
  • Damage from use outside the manufacturer’s specifications
  • Normal wear and tear

For electrical products, installation must be carried out by a suitably qualified person in accordance with applicable wiring regulations and the manufacturer’s instructions.
