The Sync Energy EV Wall Charger 2 is a single-phase untethered charge point rated 7.4kW at 32A. The integrated Type 2 socket takes the driver’s own cable, so any Type 2 lead can be used at whatever length suits the installation, and the socket auto-locks while charging. Protection is built in: a Type A RCD covering 30mA AC and 6mA DC residual current, plus open PEN conductor protection so no separate earth rod is required. A CT clamp is supplied for load management, allowing the charger to limit output against the incoming supply. Wi-Fi connectivity links the unit to the Sync Energy app, and the charger supports OCPP 1.6J. An RGB LED strip indicates status.
