The Xpelair GX9 (89994AW) is a 225mm (9 inch) commercial axial fan for window, panel or wall installation, selectable for intake or extract. In extract mode it moves 728 m³/h (202 l/s) on high speed and 618 m³/h (172 l/s) on low, with sound pressure levels of 50 and 48 dB(A) at 3m. Electrical power is 41W and the fan is rated IPX4. The totally enclosed motor drives a sickle-blade impeller, and a silent electro-thermal shutter closes against back draughts when the fan is off. A plug and socket assembly gives isolation for service access. The GX9 fits single and sealed double glazing up to 25mm thick through a 257mm hole, and can be wall mounted with the Xpelair wall kit. The frontplate measures 312 x 294mm with a 32mm projection.
