Timco Classic multi-purpose screw in 4.5 x 30mm, supplied in a box of 200 (approx.). It is made from carbon steel with a zinc and yellow finish and Gleitmo lubrication, and is suitable for hardwood, softwood, chipboard, MDF, plastic and thin sheet metal.
- Head: double countersunk, which reduces the likelihood of head shear and helps complete the countersink
- Drive: Pozi, PZ2
- Thread: single coarse 40° deep thread, fully threaded, for high pull-out resistance
- Point: 25° sharp point with single slash, to reduce torque and the likelihood of splitting near the edge
- Hardening: surface hardened against torque shearing, core hardened for ductility
- Corrosion rating: 2 on Timco’s 1–5 scale (occasionally damp or wet, rural and sheltered areas)
