This 32mm metal flexible conduit is made by PEMCO (Progress Electroplating and Manufacturing Co.) under catalogue code 25002. The core is pre-galvanised sheet steel of 0.35mm thickness, helically wound and covered with a black PVC coating, and the conduit is manufactured in accordance with EN 61386. It is supplied as a single 30 metre coil. PEMCO make the same PVC-coated conduit in 20mm (25000) and 25mm (25001) sizes, and an uncoated galvanised version in 20mm and 25mm, so a run can be kept in one system across sizes. PVC-coated galvanised flexible conduit is used to protect cables on runs that need to bend or move, such as final connections to machines and equipment.
