A lockout/tagout safety padlock with a moulded nylon body and a steel shackle, supplied in red. The nylon body is non-conductive, which is why this pattern is specified for isolation work on electrical plant where a metal-bodied padlock would be unsuitable. The body measures 38mm wide by 44mm high with a vertical shackle clearance of 38mm and a shackle diameter of 6.4mm, sizing it for standard hasps, circuit breaker lock-off devices and isolator handles. The cylinder is key retaining, so the key cannot be withdrawn while the padlock is open and a lock cannot be left hanging unset. Safety and owner labelling is carried on both faces and the key number is engraved on the body as standard. Available keyed to differ or keyed alike.
