The Imou Doorbell 2S Kit pairs a wire-free video doorbell with the DS2S indoor chime. The doorbell records at 3MP 2K resolution (2048 x 1536) over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and runs from a 5000mAh rechargeable battery, so no existing bell wiring is needed. It uses a PIR sensor for motion detection, has infrared night vision to 5 metres, two-way audio, and a wide-view lens with 30 degrees of pan. Video is compressed using H.265. The DS2S chime plugs in indoors, sounds the call, acts as a Wi-Fi relay for the doorbell and takes a microSD card of up to 512GB for local recording, so cloud storage is not required.
