The MHS20 is a 20mm hospital saddle, also known as a distance or spacer bar saddle, for use with 20mm steel or PVC conduit. It is manufactured from galvanised steel and comprises a spacer/standoff base and a saddle clip that grips the conduit. The design holds the conduit a fixed distance off the mounting surface, leaving a clearance gap behind the run so it can be wiped and cleaned down. This makes it suited to hospitals, laboratories, food, and other hygienic or wash-down areas. It supports 20mm conduit systems to BS 4568 (and BS 31 where applicable). Fixing is via the base, which secures the saddle to the wall or structure.
