Frost Fighter 250W Infrared Frost Protection Kit, Thermostat & Cage

The Frost Fighter is a complete frost protection kit built around a 250W infrared bulb under thermostatic control. The thermostat is adjustable between -5°C and +15°C, so the lamp only draws power once the temperature falls to the set point rather than running continuously. It is supplied ready to use with the bulb, a lampholder and a protective cage, together with a 2 metre flex and a 13A plug for a standard 230V socket outlet. Infrared output warms surfaces directly rather than heating the surrounding air, which suits localised protection of pipework, valves, meters, pumps and similar equipment in unheated outbuildings, plant rooms and stores. The cage guards the bulb against knocks and keeps material away from the hot glass.
