The Excel 100-297 is a Category 6 unscreened (UTP) RJ45 outlet module in Excel’s low-profile LJ6C format, in white (RAL 9003). Cables are terminated on LSA contacts, and the module has colour coding and a built-in label space.
The low-profile body measures 22mm wide, 37mm high and 19.65mm deep, which suits floor boxes and other shallow installations. It can be surface, flush or floor-box mounted, but always needs a faceplate. The housing is unshielded, so it is for use with unscreened Cat6 cabling. Excel cover the module under their 25-year system warranty when installed as part of an Excel system.
