The Benman HG 2000W, reference 76001, is a corded heat gun rated at 2000 W on a 220-240 V, 50⁄60 Hz supply. Air flow and temperature are selected with separate switches across three settings. Setting I delivers 250 l/min at 50°C, setting II delivers 250 l/min at 50-450°C, and setting III delivers 500 l/min at 90-600°C. Output temperature is held by an electronic temperature control system, and the gun has overheat protection.
The 76001 comes in a carry case with five accessories and a 3 m mains cord, and the tool weighs 0.93 kg. On electrical work a heat gun in this power class is used for shrinking heat-shrink tubing and cable sleeving, softening adhesives and forming plastics.
