This 2.5mm² 5 core SWA armoured cable is designed for power distribution and control circuits, rated at 600/1000V with XLPE insulation and a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) oversheath for enhanced fire safety. The cable features Class 2 stranded copper conductors and complies with BS 6724 and BS EN/IEC 60228 standards. Its operating temperature range is -20°C to +90°C. The galvanised steel wire armour (SWA) ensures mechanical protection for direct burial, indoor, outdoor, and duct installations. LSZH construction makes it suitable for use where fire, smoke, and toxicity are major concerns, such as public buildings, data centres, and escape routes. See BS 7671 for current ratings. Suitable for IS 10101 installations requiring Dca-s2, d2, a2 compliance.
