25mm cable gland pack supplied as a pack of 2, each set comprising a brass gland, brass locknut and black PVC shroud. The gland body and locknut are machined from brass (typically nickel-plated); the shroud is moulded PVC to cover the gland entry and improve appearance at the termination. The 25mm (M25 x 1.5) entry thread and the gland/locknut/shroud make-up indicate a BW-type gland, used for terminating single-wire steel wire armoured (SWA) cable in dry, indoor, non-hazardous locations. The gland grips and terminates the steel wire armour to provide mechanical retention and earth continuity, with the locknut securing the gland to the enclosure and the shroud finishing the entry. Manufactured to BS 6121. Supplied as a matched pack of 2.
