• Wera VDE screwdrivers go through an extensive dielectric strength test in a water bath with a 10,000-volt load to ensure customers that their screwdrivers have been thoroughly tested for their most crucial characteristic, insulation. This test is performed on each Wera VDE screwdriver to ensure that it will operate safely up to 1,000 volts in compliance with EN 60900:2012. The stainless steel blades stop unnecessary rust from developing. Vacuum ice-hardening is done on the blades to extend their service life. By "biting" into the screw head, lasertip technology stops any cam-out from happening.
