In comparison to traditional nuts and washers, the SN Series Nut, a component of the CADDY® ROD LOCKsystem, can be placed anywhere on threaded rod. This eliminates the requirement for threading.

The SN Series Nut's distinctive form makes it suitable for retrofit projects like trapeze installations (just add on as needed), as well as for installing mechanical and electrical systems supported by threaded rod. It can also be used on threaded rod that has small burrs or thread damage, which helps save time by reducing the amount of deburring that is often necessary before installation. The electro-galvanized coating on the SN Series Nut provides outstanding corrosion resistance. Additionally, it can save installation time by up to 50% when compared to conventional nuts and washers.
